Phillyrėa consists of 2 luxury villas, Dåphne and Olėa, set on a slightly inclined 6 acre plot, situated in the very quiet residential neighbourhood of Ampavris, in the peaceful countryside, on the outskirts of Kos Town and capital of the island. The distance from the city centre is just a 3′ drive by car, 20′ on foot or a 5′ bike ride!

Phillyrėa Luxury Villas are in the middle of the places you would love to visit during your stay. The heart of Kos Town Centre is approx. 1 km away. Travellers who love walking, can enjoy a 15’ walk (downhill) in the fresh air, otherwise the distance is just a 3’ drive. Keep in mind, that Kos Town is more or less, quite flat, therefore, riding around on a bike is ideal and very popular.

Dåphne (in modern greek meaning laurel tree, whereas in the greek mythology Dåphne was a nymph), is a modern style luxury villa of approx. 420 m2 with a capacity of 8 pax.   • Kos Town Centre, the Kos Harbour, the Medieval Kos Castle and the famous Plane tree of Hippocrates, are all in a range of 2,0 kms distance to the North.
  • Casa Romama which means the Roman House, is an important attraction area, 1,5 kms to the North.
  • The Asklepieion (357 BC.) known as the world’s first hospital, located 2,5 kms to the West , is probably the most popular attraction for travellers who seek to discover the history of the island and want to visit the the most famous, significant medical centre of the ancient world. By the way, the views from the archaeological site, are breathtaking!
  • The Mosque of Hassan Pasha, 1,6 kms to the West, situated in the Platani region known also as the old Turkish neighbourhood called “Kermetes”, is the only fully operational Mosque on the island. Platani is also well known, for it’s traditional taverns and oriental flavours from the East.
  • Saint Nektarios, Kos Holy Convent, 650 mtrs to the East, is a female monastic community featuring 2 old traditional greek orthodox chapels and the local nursing home.
  • Panagía Tsoukalariá, 1,8 kms to the South, is an old greek orthodox traditional countryside picturesque white chapel, situated in the heart of the evergreen woods that spread to the top of the hills. For nature lovers, who enjoy exercising outdoors, this walking route could be a favourite! The chapel is also one of the locals’ favourite for picnics, summer weddings and christenings.
